About The Role
A welcoming Anglican parish in West London is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic musician to accompany our musical worship. Working alongside the Director of Music this new role will support the existing choir and explore opportunities to grow and develop the musical life of the church community.
St Hilda’s has a strong musical tradition; our four-part choir is affiliated to the Royal School of Church Music and has in the past, supported young singers in the Voice for Life awards scheme. We have a desire to grow inclusivity in inter-cultural and inter-generational music where appropriate.
This is a part-time, paid role – approx. 3-4 hours per week.

• Confident organ and/or keyboard skills,
• Supportive of our traditional four-part harmony choir,
• Willingness to support choir recruitment and build a children’s choir,
• A love of Anglican liturgy and worship,
• Warmth, reliability and collaborative approach.
Equal Opportunities
The Diocese of London is committed to creating and sustaining a diverse and inclusive workforce which represents our context and wider community. We are aware that those of Global Majority Heritage/United Kingdom Minority Ethnic (GMH/UKME) and disabled people are currently under-represented among our clergy and workforce, and we particularly encourage applications from those with the relevant skills and experience that will increase this representation.
