“For you have been a refuge to the poor, a refuge to the needy in their distress, a shelter from the rainstorm and a shade from the heat”. Isaiah 25:4

1 in 6 of our churches are involved in supporting those who are rough sleeping, vulnerably housed and ‘hidden homeless’, be it through drop-ins, day centres, laundry and shower provisions, hot meals or rolling winter night shelters. It is here that we meet Christ, in building support, dignity and giving people a voice to articulate their needs and have them met.

We are aware that individuals within our churches (who are able to do so) may be interested in offering a spare room to someone who needs it; explore our hosting section to find out more about working alongside our partner, Housing Justice, and other organisations, to do this safely and well.
