This offering was a powerful example of what belonging in the Church can be like.

Over the past few years, the bishops of our diocese, together with the Confident Disciples team, have hosted five-week programmes designed to deepen discipleship and spiritual formation. These programmes aim to connect churches around shared discipleship themes through weekly live sessions, guest input, and practical small-group resources.

The sessions are ‘held’ with sensitivity and the wide perspectives, lived experiences and wisdom from the guest contributors is rich, inclusive and nourishing.

Although many of these programmes were first offered during Lent, the resources remain available for churches to use at any time of year.
