We are looking to recruit a part-time Worship Leader & Co-Ordinator. Are you passionate about worship and helping others to encounter God and Jesus through worship?

St Mary’s is looking for the Worship Leader to bring a Godly approach to worship, someone creative, who is good at equipping and releasing others to use their gifts in worship. This is an exciting opportunity in a well located London church that wants to grow deeper with God and our local community.

This is an opportunity for the right person to lead & develop our church community in Worship.
Members of the congregation currently co ordinate and lead worship as volunteers. We are looking for the right person to lead the church community in worship, as well as develop the experience and ability of volunteer musicians and singers.
Our worship is currently guitar or piano led, singing contemporary songs – but we also include classic worship and the occasional hymn. Our mission statement – “We are a Church of England church with a heart for community, a love for people and a love for God. We are a diverse church in the heart of West Kensington with a passion to bring hope to our neighborhood.

• Passionate about Jesus and sharing him with others
• Ready to serve in a local church with a faithful congregation
• Mature in faith and open to the work of the Holy Spirit
• An able singer and musician, with a good understanding of contemporary and traditional worship music
• Well organized, and capable of managing timetables for others involved in worship
• Someone with good communication skills
• Ability to recruit and train volunteer teams
• Team player – able to work within a team and participate at team meetings/ events
• Self-motivated
• Flexible attitude to work and ministry
• Understanding of the DBS and current child protection process

Desirable
• Sense of humour and fun
