This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience of leading worship in a church context who is passionate not simply about leading worship, but about helping form a worshipping community in which people are drawn towards Jesus, towards one another and towards the life of the Spirit.

b) Working closely with the Rector and others, help shape the worship within gatherings so that it complements and strengthens the wider teaching, prayer and ministry life of Bow Church, helping draw people towards Jesus, towards one another and towards the life of the Spirit.
c) Coordinate practical aspects of worship planning and preparation, including communication with musicians, song planning, rotas and rehearsals, whilst working closely with those responsible for other aspects of services and events.
2. Developing Worship Teams & a Worshipping Culture
a) Contribute to the identification and development of musicians and emerging leaders through encouragement, mentoring and prayer, helping more people discover and contribute their gifts within the worshipping life of the church.
b) Help foster a participatory and kind worship team culture in which people are supported to grow and flourish, modelling the kind of authenticity that helps others allow themselves to be truly seen.
c) Across the various rhythms and gatherings of church life (Sunday gatherings, extended worship nights, midweek groups and events), help build a worshipping culture at Bow Church marked by authenticity, participation, generosity, kindness and openness to the Holy Spirit.
3. Team, Volunteer & Pastoral Support
a) Help foster a healthy and supportive culture amongst volunteers, ministry leads and staff, encouraging clear communication, shared responsibility and positive patterns of participation.
b) Recognise and respond appropriately to the relational and pastoral dimensions of church life, including listening well, noticing concerns and helping connect people to appropriate support where needed.
c) Support the safeguarding culture and safer working practices of the church by following appropriate procedures, maintaining required training and contributing to a culture in which concerns are taken seriously and responded to appropriately.
