On Sunday the 24th November the final ‘Saying Goodbye’ service of 2024 will take place at Methodist Central Hall, Westminster. With over 240 Saying Goodbye services held over the past 12-years in 7 countries, they provide a beautiful and intimate opportunity to remember babies who have gone too soon.
Open to anyone regardless of faith or no faith, and free to attend, they are organised by the leading bereavement support charity Mariposa International. The charity provides services and support that is accessed by over 50,000 people each week globally, and is responsible for bringing in the new ‘Certificates of Loss’ for anyone affected by pre-24-week baby loss. These new official government certificates, which are also available to anyone who has lost a baby over the past 80-years, provide recognition of loss, which is the mission of the charity.
The services are open to individuals, couples, families and friends affected by loss or grieving never having had children. All are welcome.
