The Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) is a service for managing regular and one-off giving. It has been designed to support churches in funding their mission and ministry and reduces the burden of work on church volunteers while providing a simple and secure service to givers. By processing donations and the associated Gift Aid monthly on a church’s behalf, PGS also improves the predictability of cashflow for parishes.
The scheme is free for regular planned giving by direct debit. The transaction fee for one-off gifts by debit/credit card is 1.5% with Gift Aid processed by PGS (on the whole donation).
