This annual service for Churchwardens for Admission to Office and Declaration of Oaths, legalises the role of churchwarden in their parish for the year of their appointment. The office of Churchwarden dates from the 14th Century and this ancient role is important today as a lay guardian of the parish church.
This service is also an opportunity for Churchwarden’s (and their guest) to meet each other, be introduced to members Kensington Area team enjoy some refreshments together.
