St Nicholas Church, Perivale welcomes you to ‘Community Theology Thursdays’ a new monthly parish based event where global majority perspectives on key issues of Christian faith, theology, ethics and apologetics are explored in context with the people and the communities whose past and present have been directly impacted by these issues.
This year our series focus is ‘Jesus & Recommendation 32’.
Join us as we gather to listen to a range of speakers as they unpack the Church of England’s connection with the forced migration and chattel enslavement of Africans;
the misuse of the Bible, Christian theology and the creation of the ‘heathen’ to progress the Empire.
