Clergy are called to coach – starting with themselves
10th March 2027, Diocesan House, 10am-4pm
We are offering this programme with Humantalk to clergy at all experience levels. ‘Coaching’ is an increasingly popular way for leaders and ministers to think about how they lead, manage change, look after themselves and hold themselves accountable.
However:
- External coaches can be expensive and/or rarely understand a church context.
- ‘Coaching’ is often misunderstood, so if we attempt to self-coach, are we clear with what we’re doing and what we’re aiming for?
‘The Self-Coaching Minister’ is an interactive, and hands-on session, delivered by Humantalk. With a blend of coaching theory, psychological science, and applicable self-coaching exercises, attendees will have the opportunity to develop their understanding of ‘coaching’, learn tried and tested coaching techniques and apply their learning to current ministerial challenges and opportunities.
