Christians are often on the front lines of the struggle for social justice, working to build a society that recognises human dignity and takes care of creation. But this struggle can be draining, demoralising, and even damaging.
Drawing upon Ignatian spirituality and the shared wisdom of experienced activists, this 1-day in-person Saturday workshop – led by the Spirituality and Social & Environmental Justice teams at London Jesuit Centre, with some special guests – will offer Christian social activists spiritual resources to help inform & sustain them in their work of world-changing.
Including Panel Discussion on Faith & Activism with Fr Martin Newell (Passionists; London Catholic Worker), Megan Knowles (Jesuit Refugee Service), Melanie Nazareth (Christian Climate Action), Rev Mo Budd (Church of England; Don’t Pay UK), Yogi Sutton (Catholic Association for Racial Justice)
& Drama Divina with Jolley Gosnold (St Martin-in-the-Fields; Director, Writer, Theatremaker)
