The Bishop of London has announced that she has appointed the Revd Claire Carson, Head of Chaplaincy-Spiritual Care at the The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, as her new Healthcare Chaplaincy Adviser.
Bishop Sarah said:
Claire’s many years’ experience at the Royal Free as well as with the Imperial College and St George’s NHS Trusts, combined with her extensive involvement with healthcare chaplaincy organisations, are great gifts to this role. I look forward to working with Claire as the NHS and its Healthcare Chaplains and volunteers continue to face untold challenges. I would also like to take this opportunity to express my deep gratitude to the Revd Tony Kyriakides who has fulfilled the Adviser role admirably and, recently, in very trying times, by providing support, advice and a conduit into the life of our Healthcare Chaplains.
