Little Amal is a puppet made in the image of a young Syrian refugee girl. She has been travelling across Europe to find her mother and will be walking through London on 22 -24 October as part of her journey.

The Handspring Puppet Company created Little Amal as part of their travelling art festival, ‘the Walk’, which is a celebration of migration and cultural diversity.

The puppet represents displaced children, who have been separated from their families, and by travelling over 8,000km they hope that Little Amal will share the urgent message from all young refugees “Don’t forget about us”.

Throughout the three days that Little Amal will be visiting London, there will be various public events and opportunities to support her walk.
