Archbishop Justin has launched an initiative with the aim of ‘demystifying prayer’ through teaching and learning how to pray together at in-person events around the country.
“Prayer is simple, accessible to all and yet indispensable. Absolutely anyone can pray. It doesn’t take a saint or even an Archbishop to pray. In prayer we learn to see God at work in our world and open our lives to God’s transforming love. I hope this new initiative will bring the church together, in all its glorious diversity and traditions, in learning to pray to God who hears every prayer.” Archbishop Justin
On Saturday 12 October Archbishop Justin will join the Bishop of London and Area Bishops in visiting and praying with several London church communities, highlighting the Diocese’s vision to become younger, more racially just and a safe place for everyone.
All are invited to join Archbishop Justin, Bishop Sarah, the Revd Richard Carter for a contemplative walk at 8am on Saturday, live-streamed on the St Martin-in-the-Fields Facebook page.
