Over the last three years, four apprentices have been undertaking a groundbreaking course as children and youth workers from their local parish. The apprentices, who have all completed their third year of training, were celebrated in a graduation ceremony this week as their church families looked on with managers and friends sharing experiences and highlights, along with what the apprentices have learned along the way.

The day after the first ever group graduated, a new cohort of apprentices started the program, which has now moved to Ridley Hall’s London Training Centre and will award a CertHE accredited by the University of Durham. The total number of apprentices will remain at 12 moving forwards, with four new places available each year.
