Summer events are an amazing chance to get that all-important contact time with young people that builds relationships. If you’ve been wondering which event to do this summer and still haven’t booked anything in, we’ve found an event for every week through August that’s easy to book onto.
You can go to any of these as a family, a car convey or coach-load, but you’ll need to book ASAP and get those consent forms signed! Alternatively, book yourself a holiday with a twist and go alone…checking out an event for next year, means you’ll know exactly what to expect.
Walsingham Youth Pilgrimage
Each year, hundreds of young people visit Walsingham to pray and reflect on Mary’s “yes” to God and remember how Jesus grew up within a human family under the care of Mary and Joseph. This event is great for those in the Anglo-Catholic tradition.

Creation Fest
If you can take a group as far as Cornwall (did someone say…road trip?), Creation Fest is a FREE Christian Music Festival and Bible Week. Admission is free, but you’ll need to book and pay for camping onsite.
4-10 Aug, Wadebridge

Kingstock Music Festival
If you’re after something different (or smaller), here’s a grassroots festival where Christian artists play all weekend for a family audience. It’s a great opportunity for young people to discover and enjoy music and worship.

Soul Survivor
A weeklong festival of worship and seminars with Anglican roots that helps people deepen their relationship with Jesus. This is the penultimate year, so if you’ve been planning on taking a group sometime, just book!

Greenbelt
Packed with music, workshops, performances, debates, talks, activism, faith and worship, Greenbelt is a great place to be – whether you’re with a gang of friends or on your own. There is a dedicated youth programme and lots of other things happening around the site that young people will love.

A 72-hour Christian worship festival on the Wiston Estate in West Sussex with non-stop worship, onsite camping, break-out sessions and a youth zone – this event is not for the faint-hearted.
