Churchwarden FAQs

Churchwardens – along with the parish priest – are generally responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the parish. However, the exact role of a churchwarden varies from church to church, depending on who else is on the core team and what skills they all have.

Churchwardens should complete their Basic and Foundation level training first, before progressing to Leadership Training. Read more about each module on the ‘who needs to do what‘ webpage.
