Join us for a special service celebrating the rich heritage of Iran and the Persian-speaking Christian tradition.
The service will provide an opportunity to experience Persian Christian worship, with live worship in Persian, Persian poetry and music, in the historic setting of St Martin-in-the-Fields, overlooking Trafalgar Square.
The programme will also include an opportunity to meet one of Iran’s contemporary artists, whose glass cross is a feature of the church. This will be followed by live Persian worship led by a band, Persian poetry and a short guided tour exploring the history and heritage of St Martin-in-the-Fields.
Above all, the gathering will be an opportunity to worship together, celebrate Persian Christian heritage and enjoy fellowship with one another.
Everyone is welcome
We particularly encourage Persian-speaking family members, friends and neighbours to join us. Whether they attend church regularly, have never visited a church before, or are simply interested in learning more about the Christian faith, they will be warmly welcomed.
The event will be an opportunity to discover the richness of Persian Christian worship, meet others and experience the hospitality of the church community.
Free entry and no booking needed. Please save the date. We look forward to welcoming you.
