It has been fantastic hearing the incredible stories about how youth ministry has hugely impacted on the current Church leadership through the stories of this year’s Lent Appeal.

We know how important it is that we make sure that young people in London have both the pastoral and spiritual support that they need. Our churches need to be able to reach out to the young people in their parish.

This is why the Bishop of London and the BLMF Board have recently refocused the Bishop of London’s Mission Fund to be supporting youth, children and family projects across the Diocese.

Our vision is to fund an additional 20 youth, children and family workers to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to serve their communities.

To achieve this we need to raise a total of £1m in the next five years.

As part of our fundraising activities we are currently seeking people from across the Diocese who could run the British 10km on Sunday 12 July 2015. It is one of the most spectacular routes and takes in all of the best landmarks of London.

If you are interested, please email me or on phone me on 020 7932 1266 to register so that we can secure spaces on the run. It costs just £15 to register with us and we have a minimum fundraising target of £100.
