This iconic annual production transforms Trafalgar Square into a vast open-air theatre, offering a profound and immersive retelling of the final hours of Jesus’ life – from His arrest and trial to the crucifixion and resurrection. For those who cannot make it to the Square the performances will be livestreamed www.facebook.com/Wintershallplay.

Wintershall’s The Passion of Jesus offers a unique moment of reflection during Holy Week, inviting audiences to consider the enduring significance of Christ’s sacrifice and the hope it offers to the world. The production reflects Wintershall’s mission to share the Gospel in a way that is compelling, accessible and deeply human.

Performances are at 12 noon and 3:15 pm. No tickets or booking are required, the 90-minute performances are completely free of charge – a gift to Londoners and visitors. The production is open air with visibility maximised using a large screen. This is a very popular event so please arrive 40 minutes before your chosen performance. There is a realistic interpretation of the crucifixion so parental guidance is advised. British sign language interpretation is provided.
