£1 million social investment puts Church workers at heart of London estates

Church mission workers are living at the heart of London estates thanks to almost £1 million of social investment through Missional Housing Bonds.

Second London Missional Housing Bond launched

The Bishop of London has officially launched the second London Missional Housing Bond at St Peter’s, Bethnal Green, paving the way for further support for the church’s mission in deprived communities in London. The second Bond is seeking £2m in crowdfunded social investment for the provision of affordable rented housing for key church missional workers.

London Missional Housing Bond: first ‘missional house’ announced

The first ever London Mission Housing Bond has raised nearly £400,000 in capital. These funds will be used to purchase the first ‘missional house’ in the Anglican parish of St Peter with St Thomas, Bethnal Green in Tower Hamlets to support the mission of the Church.
