Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a research-backed approach, licensed by MHFA England, which has been enthusiastically embraced by several cohorts of clergy within our diocese. Now we are offering a further two courses for those who haven’t yet attended this course, funded by the Clergy Support Trust. By attending this programme, your will receive the following:
A detailed official MHFA manual and workbook.
Access to digital resources, including the MHFA App for 3 years post-training.
The opportunity to learn, in a safe environment, about conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, self-harm, and suicidal crisis.
A chance to learn with your peers about how this framework works within a pastoral context and in conversation with different theological perspectives.
Training in a robust, yet flexible framework for how to respond well, on a first-aider basis.
