God’s love is Truth

How do we choose the loving way?
How do we keep falsehood at bay?
How do we keep your commandments each day?
We pray:

Our Father, who art in Heaven, we love You.
Your Son, who came to Earth and gave His life; You love us.
Your spirit allows us to love,
Divine trinity, perfect in unity.
It is true You are our Creator, but You are so much more,
For, with each infinitely good, powerful, all-encompassing breath,
You count the hairs on our heads.
Your love is truth.

How do we choose the loving way?
How do we keep falsehood at bay?
How do we keep your commandments each day?
We pray:

Be it heart, mind, soul or strength,
We devote it all freely to loving You
Yet within this wellspring we can still
Love our neighbour as ourselves, and love one another
as You have loved us: unconditionally.
Through disaster and drought, fire and flood,
You provide us with your perfect promise:
A rainbow, made for all.
Your love is as wide as the sky.

How do we choose the loving way?
How do we keep falsehood at bay?
How do we keep your commandments each day?
We pray:

Truth is within all of us,
Together it binds us,
And when our perception is imperfect, You see all.
You can see into our hearts, know what is true,
We ask that all that is false may be cast out by You,
For then all that is left will be true:
The everlasting love given to us by You.

How do we choose the loving way?
How do we keep falsehood at bay?
How do we keep your commandments each day?
We pray:

For Your love and your truth reside within us,
For You guide us each day with the Holy Spirit.
That what was once a thorny crown on your head
Is now a fiery crown on our souls where a piece
Of love and truth reside within us, thanks to Your peace.
