Serving high quality coffee at reasonable prices, this will be a socially and environmentally responsible café offering healthy food and opportunities for local people to work, train, volunteer and eat.
It will be a thriving community hub, a flexible and welcoming space where people dropping their children at nursery can enjoy a cuppa with their friends, students can access free wifi and pop in for events with live music, local artists can display their work and the elderly can find both friendship and support to access other services.
The training kitchen will mean apprenticeships and training can take place to also tackle problems of worklessness and low qualifications. There is also a community garden where the residents can do planting projects and grow their own food.
We need your help to tackle isolation in the community.
