About The Role
This parish serves the community of Whitton in South-west London, and worship is in a relaxed but reverential catholic style with choir. The church has grown in recent years and is in good spirits for further developing its mission and growth, particularly through its work with children and families, and through greater outreach to its local community.
The Bishop of Kensington seeks to appoint a Priest in Anglican Orders as Vicar of the Parish, to lead it into the next stage of its ministry. Applications are invited from clergy who:
• Can lead well, with prayer, sensitivity, and compassion.
• Has the vision to nurture, inspire and equip others in their mission and ministry.
• Will enable collaboration and encourage participation in the life of the church and its outreach.
• Look to enable the growth of the church in numbers and diversity.
• Be able to share their joy in the faith as a lively and visible presence in the community.
