About The Role

We currently engage with 180 children and youth weekly and work with 5 local schools, providing mentoring and support for students making the transition to secondary school. We would love to further develop our kids and youth work in our 2 churches and the wider Hounslow West community. In 2023 we provided enough food and toiletries for almost 10,000 people at our Foodbanks. At Christmas 2023, we put together and gave away 200 bags of kindness and Christmas gifts for children under 18. Since 2021, we have been welcoming refugees and asylum seekers to Hope Haven weekly. At our weekly lunch club for Over 50’s, we see 40-50 people. We have 3 weekly services each with a different flavour.

Equal Opportunities

The Diocese of London is committed to creating and sustaining a diverse and inclusive workforce which represents our context and wider community. We are aware that those of Global Majority Heritage/United Kingdom Minority Ethnic (GMH/UKME) and disabled people are currently under-represented among our clergy and workforce, and we particularly encourage applications from those with the relevant skills and experience that will increase this representation.
