Modelling the New Creation

Update: this event is now fully booked. Please contact Brian Cuthbertson for information about future events.

This event is scheduled to take place in the Wren Suite, St Paul’s Cathedral Tuesday 16 September 2014, 6:00 to 8:00 pm, by kind permission of the Dean and Chapter. Admission (including light refreshments) is free. Anyone with a hand in running church premises should be there! Please put it in your diaries now.

The Diocese of London launched its Climate Action Programme in 2009. Now we are ready to take stock and to move forward. We shall review where we have come from, what has been achieved, where are the challenges; and plot the course from now to 2020, as part of Capital Vision 2020.

Preceded by Evensong in the Cathedral at 5pm, refreshments will be available from 6pm with a formal start at 6:30.

The programme will include:

  • A review of projects at St Paul’s
  • Case studies from our parishes
  • Energy savings in the Diocese
  • Energy-saving Benchmarking for churches, halls, residential, schools
  • Environmental programmes of the national Church.
