The Christian faith is a journey into the mystery of the love of God.
Each of us will be at a different stage of the journey, and in exploring our discipleship with others, we can share together the big and the small questions, deepening our faith and acknowledging our doubts.
Many churches have existing courses. See what’s available in your parish or in churches around your workplace. These may include Lent courses, ongoing discipleship courses, home groups, and much more. If in doubt, do contact your Area Director of Training and development (ADTD).
Pilgrim is a major new teaching and discipleship resource from the Church of England. It aims to help every local church create a place where people can explore the Christian faith together and see how it can be lived out in daily life.
Lay Ministry is important to the Diocese of London, and this two-year non-accredited course aims to give you a foundational knowledge of key themes in Christianity – and, crucially, how to apply these themes in ministry at your local church.
Your Area Director of Training and Development (ADTD) is always an excellent person to contact if you have questions and would like more information and resources. Please also spend time exploring the Ministry web pages as much of the information that you may need should be contained within.
