Services are split into two types:
Visiting clergy may be eligible for fees in relation to taking services in church.
Clergy who already hold a paid position in another parish are not eligible for additional fees but should be offered travel expenses.
Self-Supporting Ministers and Licensed Lay Minsters are not eligible for additional fees but should be offered travel expenses.
Retired clergy and those holding a Permission to Officiate license are eligible to receive fees. Please refer to the relevant link above for more detail.
During a vacancy special rules apply and the PCC may claim some of the expenses of “clergy cover” from the Diocese.
