Safeguarding training

All those who work with children, young people or vulnerable adults, or are responsible for those who do, must take part in safeguarding training.

Basic online training should be completed by everyone involved with children, young people and vulnerable adults – all clergy, church safeguarding officers, PCC members, licensed lay ministers, children’s champions and those working with any vulnerable group (children, young people or vulnerable adults) and everyone should print out their certificate at the end of the course. This can be accessed via www.london.cofelearning.org, you will need your parish code in order to register for this.

The following groups will then need to follow this up with face-to-face training:

See our safeguarding events page for training currently being offered.

Other training

Training is also available for Evidence Checkers in order to support their role in parishes.
