‘For every Londoner to encounter the love of God in Christ’

We are a modern Catholic Church in a busy suburban parish. Daily Mass is central to our church life, and we are popular for occasional offices. We value music highly as part of worship and have an active all age choir. We have a wide range of social activities with substantial schools and community involvement. As well as the challenges of the pandemic, St Martin’s has come through a difficult time. We are committed to the process of healing and moving forward together so that we can flourish and grow as a church family in the seasons to come, as a parish with a strong history and great potential.

The Parish, the Patron, (the Dean and Canons of Windsor), and the Bishop of Willesden are prayerfully seeking an experienced priest who:

· Is prayerful, maintaining a spiritual life nurtured by modern catholic liturgy.

· Is able to provide pastoral care, and is experienced in fostering healing and reconciliation.

· Is a gifted preacher and teacher.

· Is committed to shaping a healthy culture with a shared vision and purpose.

· Will work with us, with neighbouring parishes and with the deanery, in Christian mission together.

· Will lead us in active involvement with our community and our schools. We offer:

· A comfortable, detached 4-bedroom vicarage close to transport links.

· A committed church community with a willingness to work through our problems and emerge with a shared sense of vision and purpose.

· Imagination and creativity in our commitment to sharing the Good News of the gospel.

Parish profile and application form from:

The Bishop of Willesden’s PA (mary.mesmain@nulllondon.anglican.org) Tel: 020 8451 0189

Closing date for applications: 23rd August Interviews 20th September Enhanced DBS clearance will be required.

The Diocese of London is committed to creating and sustaining a diverse and inclusive workforce which represents our context and wider community. We are aware that those of Global Majority Heritage/United Kingdom Minority Ethnic (GMH/UKME), women, and disabled people are currently under-represented among our clergy and workforce, and we particularly encourage applications from those with the relevant skills and experience that will increase this representation.
