Music Administrator, Holy Sepulchre The National Musicians Church

Closing Date: 27/06/2022
Contact: Peter Asprey

More information: https://hsl.church/vacancy

The primary role of the Music Administrator will be:

· To book the choir for weekly services and extra services, concerts or recordings as required.

· To forward choir payments to the Operations Manager.

· To maintain the choir music library, including the electronic version

· To help the Director of Music with the preparation and filing of materials when the choir is involved.

· To prepare and print the service sheets for services using our pre-existing template.

· To have a role in expanding the social media platform of the choir and other musical elements of the church.

· To administer and manage audition days, for which an extra fee may be available.

In addition to these things, we are looking for someone who would be interested in being a part of the expanding vision of the Musicians’ Church. Whilst the role currently revolves primarily around the choir, we are interested to hear from applicants who bring a vision of what it means to be the National Musicians’ Church more broadly and a desire to implement this vision as part of an expanding role. This could involve, for example, taking responsibility for the running of a concert series or the creation of a music festival. As such, this is an exciting position for someone who would like to bring creativity and ideas and who would enjoy implementing those ideas as part of an energetic team committed to the development of the musical life of the church.

Please email a CV and short cover letter outlining your suitability for the post to the Director of Music, Peter Asprey (peter@nullhsl.church). The closing date for applications is Monday 27th June, 5pm.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview in the week commencing 4th July.
