This is an exciting opportunity to share the the good news of Jesus Christ with our homeless guests, whilst supporting them to relieve their homeless situation.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable and confident working with a wide range of guests, both male and female, from different nations and cultures.
Based in the winter night shelter (this year a hotel on the border of Tower Hamlets and Newham) the advocate worker will welcome the guests into the shelter, and will meet with them to hear their stories and help support them into new accommodation. Through this work, there is often the opportunity to share the good news of Jesus Christ and pray for our guests, so we would love a passionate born again believer who believes in the redemptive power of the blood of Jesus Christ for ALL people, regardless of their past.

The shelter is due to open on the 15th November 2021 and will close either the 31st March or the 29th April (TBC nearer the time). This is a temporary contract only. Please visit https://thisisgrowth.org/jobs/ to find out more. A CV and completed application form needs to be emailed to naomi@nullthisisgrowth.org by 5pm Thursday 21st October 2021.

We would love someone in post by the opening date, but have some flexibility around that.
