St. Marylebone Parish Church is recruiting for the post of Building Manager & Verger, a key role in the life of the Parish Church. This is a senior position and as a member of a large team of ordained and lay staff, you will responsible for the day-to-day safety and physical operation of the building and its environs.

St Marylebone Parish Church is a place of active and engaged Christian witness, set at the heart of Central London. It is a hospitable venue for educational and cultural events of national and international significance. In all these things, the Parish Church aims to achieve the highest standards of welcome, service and delivery. The Parish Church hosts high profile services throughout the year as well as many conferences and meetings, including room hire. A large number of high-profile individuals are welcomed regularly to the Parish Church to a variety of events and services. A team of more than 20 ordained and lay staff work for St Marylebone Parish Church.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the parish church’s building, its plant, equipment, furnishings and environs.
