A New Year and a new beginning, often comes with new questions.
Why not join the Informal Inquirers hangout, for those seeking ‘traditional’ communities and the Anglican religious life.
An Online get-together with other inquirers in a relaxed and informal Zoom session.
From 10.30am on Saturday 23rd January, join Brother Finnian nSSF as he hosts a time to share thoughts and ideas with anyone inquiring.
This month we are welcoming Sister Margaret Theresa from the Sisters of the Love of God and Sr Carolin Clare from the Community of Saint Clare, as they share their vocation stories, their prayer life, their community and their online outreach.
To take part, email Brother Finnian to tell him you are coming, and he will send on the link. Then, bring your coffee and cookies, and join with others as we travel this journey together.
This chilled couple of hours to help us develop a genuine sense of friendship and support, for all people discerning their vocation to the different forms of the Anglican religious life.
During the previous events we’ve held, people have shared really insightful and honest questions about what religious life ‘is really like’. We discussed what the challenges and the barriers can be, how we experienced this ourselves and how ultimately the Lord made a way for us.
People will meet new and interesting people and this is an ongoing discernment community who have met up several times in 2020, in a socially distanced manner in parks and at community houses, to share our journey and to support each other.
To find out more about this and other examples of religious life, why not see the Twitter Handle @monknuncofe, that highlights more about the religious life, with a weekly different host from a different community highlighting a week in their life.
