Lucy Winkett was ordained in 1995, having previously been a professional soprano. Her early ordained ministry was spent at St Paul’s Cathedral. Since 2010, she has been Rector of St James’s, Piccadilly. She broadcasts regularly on religion, gender and contemporary culture and is a longstanding contributor to
Radio 4’s Thought for the Day. Her book Our Sound is Our Wound was chosen as the Archbishop’s Lent book for 2010.

Bob Chilcott, a composer, conductor, and singer, has enjoyed a lifelong association with choral music, first as a chorister and choral scholar in the choir of King’s College, Cambridge, and for 12 years as a member of the King’s Singers. He became a full-time composer in 1997, embracing his career with energy and commitment, and producing a large catalogue of music for all types of choirs, which is published by Oxford University Press.

With a performance by St Martin’s Voices, St Martin-in-the-Fields’ flagship choral ensemble.
