What would it mean for our church to increasingly focus on equipping people to speak and live the gospel in everyday life?
“Transformational, real difference, exciting, freeing” – that’s how churches have described getting involved in equipping and commissioning ambassadors.
This is a clergy training day full of practical insights and ideas to get you started
What small changes would we make to do this? What would be different if we looked at everything we do through this lens? How can churches become communities that envision, equip and support their people to be fruitful on their daily front-lines – wherever those are? What are the implications for leaders and leadership teams? How have people grown in confidence to make a difference on their front-lines? What’s helped? What’s hindered? What keeps it going? What resources can help? And how can you discern the right first steps to take in your own particular context?
Join the pilot churches from the Diocese of London and the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity as we share what we’ve learnt about increasing the focus on equipping people as ambassadors for Jesus Christ in everyday life. We’ll be exploring the vision and the practical principles and process from work with churches of different sizes and traditions in the Diocese of London and across the nation and offering a clear framework for moving forward.
