West End Church exploring Museum of the Bible partnership

St Mary le Strand in Westminster has begun a consultation about a possible partnership with the Museum of the Bible from Washington DC. The main Washington Museum opens in November 2017, and is located close to the US Capitol and White House. The current proposals in London look at a sensitive conversion of St Mary le Strand to house travelling exhibits, and an education and outreach programme. The Museum already has innovative partnerships with the Lambeth Palace library, the Vatican Archives and the Israeli Antiquities Authority.

The Museum of the Bible focusses on the Narrative, the History and the Impact of the Bible and the video below gives a flavour of what we hope will soon come to St Mary le Strand. Stay tuned for more updates as our plans develop.
