New Assistant Dean for St Mellitus College

The Bishop of London and the Bishop of Chelmsford, joint Chairs of the Board of St Mellitus College, have announced that the Revd Ann Coleman has been appointed as the Revd Dr David Hilborn’s successor as Assistant Dean of St Mellitus College and Director of the North Thames Ministerial Training Course.

Ann has been on the staff of St Mellitus College for the past three years, and brings a great deal of wisdom in the areas of spirituality, personal formation and ministry, as well as extensive experience in ministerial training in her previous roles as a Diocesan Director of Ordinands, a Moderator of Reader training, Priest Director of Wyedale Hall in Yorkshire, and in parish life.

She will begin her role as part of the senior leadership team of the College alongside the Dean, The Revd Dr Graham Tomlin, and the other Assistant Dean, The Revd Dr Andrew Emerton, in April 2012, when Dr David Hilborn moves on to his new role as Principal of St John’s College Nottingham.

St Mellitus is advertising a post in Missiology or Liturgy and Worship, based in and working closely with the Chelmsford diocese.
