Dictionary of Christian Art and Architecture

The Oxford classic reference Dictionary of Christian Art and Architecture is now published in a new edition.

Expanding the first edition’s respected contents, this new edition, edited by Tom Devonshire Jones and an able team of specialists, updates the scholarship and enlarges the geographical and modern take on a subject of increasing concern in Church, artistic and academic circles. New Articles include North America; South America; Australia; Film; Spirituality; European 20th and 21st Centuries; Faculty Consent; Landscape; Jewish and Islamic Interactions with Christian Art; Russian Art. (Paperback edition is published next year.)

You are welcome at the Dictionary’s launch in St Martin-in-the-Fields, by kind permission of the Vicar and Churchwardens, at the Parish Breakfast on Sunday 24 November 2013 at 12 noon, following the 10am Eucharist.
