Contactless card readers for churches

Applications are now open for our digital giving project. We are working with the National Giving Team to promote online and contactless giving across the Diocese, including granting 70 heavily subsidised contactless giving devices.

The upfront cost for each device will be £30.

An email was sent to all parishes with a link to the application form. If you did not receive that email, and are a Diocese of London parish, please contact the Area Finance Advisers team on digitalgiving@nulllondon.anglican.org. Please put your parish name and 4-digit parish reference in the subject line.

When applying for a device you will be asked to either sign up for a Parish Buying account (which is free to do) or log in using your existing Parish Buying details. Please note applications cannot be partially saved and returned to at a later time. The application form needs to be completed in one sitting. The Parish Buying website contains a link to download the project pack which provides full details of the scheme.  Please read the project pack before starting on the application form as it contains guidance on completing the form.

Applications are open until Friday 21 April, after which we will assess applications and notify those churches that are being awarded a contactless device. We are expecting to distribute devices during the period 20-24 July and successful applicants will be required to collect their device in person and receive training on the use of the device.

If you have any questions on the project or the application process, please contact the Area Finance Adviser team on digitalgiving@nulllondon.anglican.org. Please put your parish name and 4-digit parish reference in the subject line.
