Clergy and Staff moves March 2022

Within the Diocese

The Revd Katherine Hedderly, Vicar of All Hallows by the Tower (0101), is also to be Priest in Charge of St. Mary-at-Hill, Eastcheap (0116), from 4 April.

The Revd Karen Wellman, Vicar of St. Mark, Teddington (0913), is also to be SSM Kensington Area Mother’s Union Chaplain from 11 April.

The Revd Jane Hodges, Team Rector in the Poplar Team Ministry (0708) and Area Dean of Tower Hamlets, is to be Chaplain at H.M.P Pentonville (0696), from 3 April (she will continue as Area Dean of Tower Hamlets until 30 June)

Permission to Officiate

The Revd Robert Titley has been issued with Permission to Officiate.

The Revd Brian James Lewis has been issued with Permission to Officiate.

The Revd John Russell has been issued with Permission to Officiate.

Into the Diocese

The Revd Jonathan Gillespie, Priest in Charge of Stanmer, with Falmer, Diocese of Chichester is to be SSM Associate Vicar of All Souls Club House, All Souls, Langham Place (0403) from 25 April.

Resigned

The Revd Henry Kendal, Vicar of St. Barnabas, Woodside Park (1406), is to resign with effect from 31 May.

The Revd Nicky Lee, Curate at Holy Trinity, Brompton (1209), is to resign with effect from 31 August. He will continue to work part-time for Alpha International with the Marriage and Parenting courses (for everywhere except Holy Trinity, Brompton).

Rest in Peace

The Revd Stuart Lee, previously Assistant Priest, St. Barnabas, Bethnal Green (0702), died on 3 March.

Funeral arrangements for Fr Stuart:
Requiem Mass, Wednesday 13 April at 11am
The parish church of St John on Bethnal Green.
Clergy are invited to robe-Alb and white stole.

Staff changes at the London Diocesan Fund

Welcome to the LDF

Diane Kerr joined us as Archdeaconry Administrator to the AD of London on a full-time basis, based at the Old Deanery (hybrid working).

Helen Batten joined us Asset Manager for the Property Team, and will be based at Causton Street (hybrid working).

Stephen Gorton joined us as Myriad Programme Manager on a full-time basis and will based at home.

Farewell from the LDF

Chantelle Johnson, Communications Assistant, left on 25 March.
