A year on from the launch of Capital Vision, The Diocese of London hosted a Week of Prayer at St Paul’s Cathedral as churches around London joined together in a relentless wave of prayer for our city.

Bishop of London celebrates launch of 24-7 prayer week at St Paul’s Cathedral

On Tuesday, the Bishop of London, the Right Revd & Rt Hon Richard Chartres, celebrated the launch of the Diocese of London’s 24-7 Prayer, in the Chapel of St Michael and George, within St Paul’s Cathedral. The prayer room has been set up in association with 24-7 Prayer and will enable London churches to engage in a week of continual prayer.

Diocese of London sponsors prayer app in the lead up to a second 24/7 prayer week

On 1 April the Diocese of London became the official sponsor of PrayerMate, an app which helps people pray for the people and causes they care about. This sponsorship is part of the London’s Capital Vision 2020 strategy to create a Diocese which is confident, compassionate and in this case, creative.
