Holy Trinity Southall commissions ambassadors as it celebrates the Fruits of All Our Labours

Holy Trinity Southall commissioned church members of all ages as Ambassadors for Jesus Christ in Daily Life during the Harvest Thanksgiving Eucharist on Sunday 5 October 2014, making the parish one of nine across the Diocese working together to pilot the Ambassadors strand of Capital Vision 2020.

Ambassadors representing Jesus Christ in daily life – equipped and commissioned locally

People from across the Diocese attended two one day workshops in March looking at what it means for us to equip and commission ambassadors representing Jesus Christ in daily life. Over 1,500 ambassadors have already been commissioned across the Diocese through confirmation and through specific groups of students and workplace ministries. The two March workshops marked the launch of equipping and commissioning ambassadors through local churches.

Easter Ambassadors at St Edmund’s, Northwood Hills

58 members of St Edmund’s church, Northwood Hills, made a commitment to be Ambassadors for Jesus Christ on Holy Saturday. Many of them had participated in the church’s ‘Faith on the Frontline’ Lent course.
