#BrentTogether: a message of unity

A video message from Brent’s Multi Faith Forum explains how faith leaders and an army of volunteers have been supporting local communities through the COVID-19 pandemic.

The video features the Area Dean for Brent, Revd Andrew Teather. He explains:

“The Brent Multi Faith Forum comprises local leaders from many of the religions in Brent, the most diverse borough in the UK. Brent Council requested that we make a short, socially distanced, film, for the Mayor’s Office and the Council to use to show how we are working together as different faiths during this time of Covid 19 for the benefit of all in our Borough.

We have, between us and together, run an extraordinary amount of outreach and service and this film seemed a good way of celebrating that as we begin to open up our buildings again. For us as Anglicans, I hope it helps put meaning behind the signs on our church doors which proclaim ‘the Church in London remains alive and active’ – so it does, thank God.”
