Archbishop Justin issues call to prayer for the Lambeth Conference

The Archbishop of Canterbury has issued a call for people to pray for the Lambeth Conference of Anglican bishops, and to set aside Trinity Sunday – June 12 – as a dedicated day of prayer.

The Lambeth Conference is a gathering of bishops and their spouses from across the Anglican Communion.

They are meeting for prayer and reflection, fellowship and dialogue on church and world affairs.

The bishops will discuss a number of topics, including mission and evangelism, peace and reconciliation, the environment and sustainable development, discipleship, inter faith relations and more.

The short prayer guide below is for churches and communities that would like to pray for the conference and all those attending. It contains an outline of what the conference covers, and prayers from Anglican religious communities around the globe.
