Announcement: The Printed Directory

2020 will be the last year that the Diocese of London produces a printed directory. From 2021 onwards we will be following in the footsteps of many other dioceses by going fully digital.

How?

Our database, currently MyDiocese, will be moved to a new user friendly platform in 2020. The new content management system has been developed by the national CofE team, and 30 other dioceses are already benefiting from it.

Why?

We realise that for many of you this will take some adjustment, and that the online directory might not be as convenient as the physical book. However, just as most people now take their own bags to the supermarket we hope you can look on the new online directory as an example of good stewardship. We will be saving resources (money, paper, and the staff resource) and hope you can support us by embracing this change.

When?

We will release the final printed version of the directory in Q1 2020, and will be migrating to the new CMS system during 2020. The new digital directory will be available by the start of 2021, and training on using the new system will be made available.
