Christenings, confirmations, weddings and funerals are moments of real significance in the lives of individuals, their families and friends. Often people want to feel some sense of God as they mark and celebrate key moments of life – such as birth and marriage – and when they want to reflect on the loss of a loved one and what their bereavement means for them and those around them.

As a result baptisms, weddings and funerals are often occasions when people connect or re-connect with God and with church. Particularly at such times we want to help and support everyone who wishes to mark an important occasion in their life and that of those they love and care for. These pages give some help and advice.

If you’re a member of the clergy or a Licensed Lay Minister, policies and documents about conducting these services are available on the Sacraments and Services support page.
