Children's and Youth Worker, Hampstead Parish Church
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Children's and Youth Worker to coordinate our existing children's activities and education, and to expand and develop our provision for children and young people.
St John-at-Hampstead is a large church in the liberal catholic/broad church tradition with a Sunday Morning congregation of between 150 and 200, and a Curate and two Readers. We have an excellent Parochial Primary School and an increasing number of young families attending the church. We currently run four Sunday School Groups, a creche and a Junior Choir and a number of children's activity days, a holiday club and a small Youth Group which needs reviving. We have a number of committed and experienced volunteers working with these groups.
