This centralised gutter maintenance programme is available for all parishes in the Diocese to join.
The Diocese will pay for the gutter clearance at those churches which have been classified as ‘diocesan supported parishes’. The list of parishes that qualify for the free service will be updated annually. These parishes have been contacted already. The Diocese will also pay for the gutter clearance to the parsonage buildings. This phase of the programme started in November 2006.

From spring 2007 this service has become available to all other parishes within the Diocese. The cost per visit is around £279 inc. VAT.
We would recommend a minimum of one visit per year, this being in the autumn after the leaf fall.
Not only are the gutters cleaned but you will also receive a report, with photographs, showing the condition of the building at high level.
